We are VERY GRATEFUL and saying a HUGE THANK YOU! Because of a $3,000 grant specifically designated for the purchase of hygiene products we received from IU Health and a $5,000 grant from the new Women and Children’s Fund established this year at HCCF, the Coalition was able to purchase and distribute much needed shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes. These are items we consider necessary in our daily lives but people who must depend on SNAP assistance aren’t able to use those dollars to purchase them. Unfortunately, most pantry dollars must concentrate on purchasing food and rarely can provide hygiene items unless they receive donated products. We’re so happy to have received the extra dollars in order to provide these products to our shoppers. Along with the $3,000 IU Health provided for this purchase, they also provided a $7,000 grant for our general fund with HCCF to use toward food purchases. We’re SO THANKFUL for these GREAT PARTNERSHIPS!

Libby was very instrumental in the forming of the Hendricks County Food Pantry Coalition, where she served as Vice President for many years. She is dearly missed!

Gleaners Mobile Pantry update:

We were recently informed that Gleaners has decided to discontinue the Hendricks County Mobile pantries in Stilesville and Danville. The last pantries were in September. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please refer to our updated food pantry list. Thanks!
